Firearm Transfers

Fees:

$40 for the 1^st firearm

$30 for each additional

Plus $20.00 for the WA State Patrol Background Check

As of January 1, 2024 the Washington State Patrol (WSP)

now performs all firearm background checks.

The WSP charges the FFL a fee for every background check submitted.

We can also email you a firearm transfer tip sheet. This will detail everything you need to know and complete before you arrive, including our street address.

Important Notices:

Due to the passing of Senate Bill 5078, magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds
cannot be delivered / transferred to a resident of the State of Washington.

If we receive a firearm with magazines greater than 10 rounds, they will be removed before the transfer.
If you would like for these magazines to be mailed out of state, you must provide an address of someone who resides in a state that can legally acquire magazines greater than 10 rounds.
(Shipping cost will be $15.00, includes a tracking number)

Due to the passing of Substitute House Bill 1240, “Assault Weapons” defined by this bill cannot be transferred or sold to a resident of the State of Washington. If we receive a firearm which falls under the Assault Weapons Ban, it will be returned to sender.
